Spoilers That Can Kill Your Courtship Romance

Courtship is a period in the life of a couple that leads from acquaintance to intimacy. This is a time when a couple plan their life together. In the case of an arranged marriage, this period is very important for a couple as they get to know and understand each other. However, there are a few things that can certainly spoil these precious moments and have repercussions on your dream of being together. A small distraction here and a slight flutter there can ruin your precious moments. So, check out some of the most common courtship romance spoilers.

Meddlesome Family Members

"No matter how well you love your relations, courtships are best conducted without the participation of your family"– Julia Quinn

An untimely knock on the door or an impromptu addition to your romantic date or even blatant eavesdropping can really spoil those romantic moments that you and your sweetheart wish to steal. In India, where families play a huge role in our lives, they can even make things unnecessary complicated or messy at times. So, it is best to keep your family members at bay as far as your alone moments and conversations with your sweetheart are concerned.

Stuck to Technology and Networking

There is absolutely nothing that would annoy your partner more than you checking your BBM while on a romantic date and there is nothing sleazier than giving a play-by-play update of your amorous activities on social networking. That all important Facebook update can obviously wait for later, right? So, when you are getting to know a person it is best to keep your cell phones on silent, your laptops in your car and your social networking on hold.

Easily Distracted

While dating or romancing, concentrate as if your entire life depends upon it. Even a slight shift in attention is bound to end it abruptly. This would also send a clear signal to your partner that either you are not really in it, or that the chemistry between you two is not enough to capture your interest entirely. So the rule of thumb here is: Unless and until there is an earthquake, don’t let your interest falter or lose the fragile eye contact.

The Ex-Factor

While you do make it a point to not speak favourably about your ex, deprecating him/her (merely to show your partner as to how cool and nice he is in comparison) is not a cool thing to do either. The worst is comparing your beloved to your ‘ex’. The golden rule is: Your ‘Ex’ belongs to your past, so let them remain there.

Money Honey!

One of the biggest turn offs for a girl (after bad odour and manners) is coming up to her with a nice gift package and saying, “darling, you know I spent my whole month's fuel cost on this dress!” Express your love in precisely these words and your hopes for even a goodbye kiss will be dashed. Keep all show-offs at bay during your courtship period. Money is important as far as a person is just looking for financial stability in the future together.

Grooming or the lack of it!

Poor, unhygienic grooming goes a long way in repelling your partner, especially keeping them away from getting intimate. So, if you are really intent on an ascetic courtship, then do not take any steps to curb the body odour or get rid of the mop (read: cluster of hair) in all the undesirable places. You get my point, right? By, the way, the grooming and hygiene part is applicable for both the partners.

If you want to enjoy beautiful and intimate moments during your courtship period, steer clear of these spoilers. And, if you know anymore coutrship romance spoiler to warn us then do let us know by leaving your comments below.
