Shweta Tiwari Reveals Her Daughter, Palak Tiwari Has Taken Care Of Her Like Her Own Mother

We live in a world, where we have ample options of 'what we want to be', yet there comes a point in every girl's life when she steps into her mother's shoes and quotes her sayings. After all, a mother is our first teacher and a friend, who carefully guides us through the various chapters of our life. She lessons us on how to put the mascara right and how to cook the chapatis round. She shapes our future in a way that we someday become just like her. And television actress, Shweta Tiwari's daughter, Palak Tiwari is a perfect example of it. Her 'not-so-little-daughter' has stood by her mother in her happy days and gloomy nights. (Recommend Read: Mahhi Vij's Emotional Note For Adopted Daughter, Khushi On Her Birthday Proves She Is An Amazing Mom)

Shweta Tiwari is still hailed as 'Prerna Sharma' of Kasautii Zindagii Kay (2001). She became the nation's favourite bahu, and we somehow felt her pain and laughed with her in her happy moments. We were shocked when she had lodged an FIR (for domestic violence) against her first husband, Raja Chaudhary. But her decision gave many young girls courage to end their troubled marriage. Later, when we thought Shweta found her 'happily ever after' with Abhinav Kohli, the rumours of trouble in their paradise made it to gossip section. And it got confirmed when Shweta had filed a domestic violence case against her second husband, Abhinav Kohli.

But one person that stood with Shweta Tiwari was her daughter (from first marriage), Palak Tiwari. She gave her the courage to rise back each time. Recently, in an interaction with the Hindustan Times, Shweta shared that it was her family, who made her strong. After all, she is a parent and she is the one, who has to raise her daughter (Palak) and son (Reyansh). She also added that she draws her strength from her daughter, Palak, who has taken care of her like her own mother.

Shweta also opened up on how her daughter was dragged in the middle of the whole tittle-tattle and said, "Some people said ‘disturbed family ke bachche bahut disturbed hote hai’. But that’s not true at all. Palak is a very poised and polished girl. She has been getting many acting offers but her focus is very clear. Right now, she is studying, working on her fitness, learning horse riding and kickboxing." (Also Read: Sunny Leone Accompanying Her Kids, Nisha, Asher And Noah To A Christmas Party Is Pure Mother Goals)

Earlier, in an interview with The Times of India, Shweta had shared that Palak is a far better actress than her, giving us a glimpse of their beautiful bond. She had also stated that her daughter doesn't want to be like her or has an aspiration of being compared to her. She was quoted as saying, "No, she doesn't feel that way at all. Because she feels her acting, her spirit is very different from me. I am a desh ki bahu, she doesn't want to be a bahu. She didn't want to do anything which is very close to my work. She is much better at acting than me. I am not saying because she is my daughter."

For those who don't know, in August this year, Shweta had filed a case at Samta Nagar Police Station in Mumbai and Abhinav was immediately taken into police custody for 2 days. He was accused of using inappropriate language to his step-daughter, Palak. And while the gossipmongers were speculating on what went wrong in the actress' life 'again', her daughter, Palak had talked about the same in an open letter on her official Instagram handle.

Palak's post could be read as "Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who’s reached out to express their concern and support. Secondly, I would like to address and clarify a few things out of my own rectitude: The media does not have the facts and they never will. I, Palak Tiwari, was on multiple occasions a victim of domestic abuse NOT my mother, except for the day that the complaint was filed he hadn’t hit my mother. As a reader of the news, it's often easy to forget that you do not know the truth of what goes on behind closed doors or how much fortitude my mother has shown in both her marriages. This is someone’s household you’re writing about, someone’s life you’re discussing. Many of you, fortunately, haven’t ever dealt with something of such heinous proportions, and hence you have no right to comment, discuss or paint someone else’s image through your biased, misinformed views."

Palak had also written about the times when her step-father used to pass inappropriate comments that have left a mark on her. She had written, "It’s beyond disgusting and its time that I stand up for my mother for she is the strongest person I know and since out of all of us I’m the only person who’s witnessed her struggle day in and day out, my opinion is the only one that matters. Abhinav Kohli has never physically molested me or touched me inappropriately. Before spreading something of this calibre or even believing it, it is imperative you as readers know the veracity of the facts that you’re blindly divulging endlessly. However, he did persistently make inappropriate and disturbing remarks the impact of which is only known to my mother and me, and if any woman from any walk of life were to hear them she would be greatly embarrassed and provoked too. Words which would question the standing dignity of any woman, which you wouldn’t expect to hear from any man, especially not your “father”. Seeing our lives through social media, reading about us in the papers can only tell you so much about our struggles, but never enough to comment on them. Today as a proud daughter, I’m here to tell you that my mother is the most respectable individual that I’ve ever come across, the MOST self-sufficient, one who’s never required or even had a man provide for her and has always taken the social standing of a “man” in both the families that we’ve been a part of." (Don't Miss: 'Bigg Boss 13' Shefali Jariwala's Hubby, Parag Tyagi Celebrates Her Birthday Alone, Away From Her)

Well, Palak is a mirror-image of her mother, Shweta!
