Shriya Saran Explains Why 'Gore Se Kyun Shaadi Ki?' Comment Offended Her Hubby, Andrei Koscheev

Popular actress, Shriya Saran made her acting debut with the Telegu film, Ishtam in 2001. Since then, she has never looked back and gave one after the other stellar performances in Tamil, Telegu, Kannada and Hindi films. However, she became a household name with her stint in the superhit films, Sivaji-The Boss, Drishyam and Drishyam 2. In a recent interview, Shriya talked about her husband, Andrei Koscheev's take on the huge trolling that celebrities used to face. She also shared her mom's guilt as she has to leave her 22-month-old baby girl, Radha in her home and go to work.

For the unversed, Shriya is married to Russian entrepreneur, Andrei Koscheev, and they are blessed with a baby girl, Radha. The doting parents keep documenting every moment of their daughter's growing period and share it with their massive fanbase. For instance, on October 19, 2022, Shriya had taken to her IG stories and shared an aww-dorable picture of her daughter, Radha as the baby girl wore a beautiful shimmery saree. The doting mommy also penned a lovely note atop it and mentioned that it was her dupatta from the shelves of the ace designer, Manish Malhotra, which turned into a saree for her daughter. In an interview with the ETimes, Shriya was asked how she and her husband, Andrei Koscheev deal with the trolls. To this, she mentioned that they usually used to laugh out at the trolls. However, sharing an incident when Andrei was badly trolled, she shared that her husband got really offended, and she had to console him. Elaborating the same, she said:

"I don't know. They (trolls) really don't do that to me. If it's funny, Andrei will read and we will laugh and discuss it with a cup of coffee but recently something really bad was written about him. They said, "Gore se kyun shaadi ki?" Andrei really got offended, he said that he is a human being first. I consoled him and told him, we laugh at the funny trolls, so we will have to deal with these ones as well and just let this go. From then, it's almost become like a ritual that we both don't read anything that is written about us. He doesn't Google me and I don't Google myself. We don't read the comments unless they are written by our family and friends. Otherwise, we don't read, we don't care."

Further, in the same conversation, Shriya shared her mom's guilt while juggling personal and professional commitments. Narrating an incident when her daughter uttered the word 'mumma' for the first time, she explained how she felt insecure about missing something in her life. However, the next day she promised herself to make her daughter proud with her work and added:

"It is very hard to do that and that guilt is always very prevalent in all mothers when they go out to work. I was on the sets and the nanny from my house informed me that Radha had just spoken the word 'mumma'. And I wasn't home at that moment, so I ran home. And I was sitting there, holding Radha but she didn't say 'mumma' again. And I felt that I missed out on something. The next morning, when I was leaving for work, I told myself that I will make it worth it. That I will work hard today and one day when Radha sees my films and watches me, she will feel proud of me.
