When Shah Rukh Khan revealed his parents would be proud of the way he raised his three kids

Just like his father, Shah Rukh Khan has always tried to be the best inspiration and pillar of strength for his three children, Aryan, Suhana and AbRam. When the actor attended the Sharjah International Book Fair, the interviewer asked him how his late parents would have reacted to his achievements and immense fandom if they were alive today. SRK responded that before anything else, his late parents would have been proud of the way he raised his kids and said:

“But I think my father and my mother both would be very proud of I think my one achievement… if I can call it an achievement, I think it is something we have to do and something we live by… I think they will be proud of the way we have been able to bring up my three children. When Shah Rukh Khan talked about his regret for not expressing enough love to his parents

Shah Rukh Khan always misses the presence of his late parents, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan and Lateef Fatima Khan, in his life. The actor has, time and again, expressed his feelings about losing his parents at an early age. Earlier, during his appearance on Salman Khan’s show, Dus Ka Dum, SRK had talked about the one regret he had after his parents' death and revealed that he wishes he should've told them how much he loves them. In his words:

“I am a father to three kids and all parents wish that their children remind them once a month, once in six months or even once in a year that I love we love you. After my parents died, I realised that I should've told them that I love them a few more times.”

Shah Rukh Khan got a break in films when he wanted to fill the void of losing his parents

For the unversed, Shah Rukh Khan lost his father, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan, in the year 1981, when he was just 15 years old. A decade later, his mom, Lateef Fatima Khan, also succumbed to a prolonged illness and left for the heavenly abode in 1991. Sadly, SRK's parents couldn't see their son reaching the heights of success in Bollywood. Once in an old interview, Shah Rukh had said that he got a break in films when he wanted to fill the void of losing his parents. In his words:

"We got to know they had cancer and within two and a half months, they were gone. I didn't know what to do. I just felt one night, while at their mazaar that I should fill this void with something. I got a fortunate break in films."

We love how Shah Rukh Khan never misses a chance to shower love on his late parents and pay respect to them!
