Sania Mirza Gives Us A Glimpse Of How She Manages Working Out With A 'Clingy Child', Izhaan

The journey of being a mother starts when you see the red lines on the pregnancy test kit. Followed by nine-months of pregnancy filled with morning sickness and ballooning of your body. But the real fun starts when your baby enters the world. The long days turn into sleepless nights but you have to keep your sane as nurturing a little life is not at all easy. Despite it all, a mommy loves every second of nurturing her baby and she will never trade it for anything else. There comes a point in every mother's life when she has to choose between a thriving career and her baby. But there are few 'mumma bears', who are acing the balancing act and living their dreams while keeping their kids happy, and Sania Mirza is one of them! Within just four months of giving birth to her baby boy, Sania was back on the tennis court and had played her first informal match. She had shared the inspiring video on her Instagram handle.

Currently, the entire is on 21-day lockdown because of the COVID-19 outbreak, but this doesn't stop the tennis champion, Sania from working out. On April 2, 2020, Sania took to her Instagram handle and gave us a glimpse of how she is managing her workout with her clingy baby, Izhaan. She posted Instagram stories, wherein, we can see her son, Izhaan glued in her arms while she was exercising. Check out the screenshot of the same below:

In an interview with LiveMint, Sania had shared how difficult it was to  get back in shape after giving birth to her son. She had said, "I didn’t want to! I had to. I wasn’t feeling healthy. Till the day I had him, I ate everything I saw. (After that), there was no excuse to eat everything. For me, being healthy is an integral part of who I am. I just wanted to be fit again. I had so much else going on. I wasn’t really thinking about it. Maybe at some point, I was like, if it does happen, great, if it doesn’t, I am not going to beat myself up over it, I have had a great career. The best part about my comeback is it’s on my own terms. In the same interview, Sania had revealed that her decision of coming back to tennis wasn't overnight. She had stated, " It was not like one day, but a process going on in my head. It took me time to settle as a mother. There are many changes in my life that happened overnight, and you have to adapt. Mother’s love comes instinctively but other things take an effort. When I look at myself in the mirror, I know what has changed. A lot of things in your body change.
