Radhika Merchant's Hand-Painted Lehenga For 'Shubh Aashirwad' Ceremony Had Animals For This Reason

Radhika Merchant, Ambani's choti bahu, has won hearts with her back-to-back gorgeous looks. From donning Anant Ambani's love letter-printed gown to wearing special jewellery with her husband's gemstone, she is a born fashionista. While Radhika's every outfit was beyond magnificent, it was her look for Shubh Aashirwad that stole everyone's heart. It was made in collaboration with Jayasri Burman, Abu Jani, and Sandeep Khosla.

The ace designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, revealed that the hand-painted lehenga was Radhika Merchant's stylist, Rhea Kapoor's idea. The designer duo revealed that Radhika wanted something spectacular, so they pitched in Jayasri Burman. Radhika loves her painting, and so she created a special 12-panelled lehenga, which was hand-painted.

The artist knew Anant's infinite love for animals, so she included peaceful animals like elephants and swans in the design. It brought good energy for the couple as they started their happily ever after together. The designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, further revealed how Jayasri added layers of paint to the lehenga.

For the Shubh Aashirwad ceremony, Radhika chose to wear a hand-painted lehenga. The lehenga was made in collaboration with three designers: Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and contemporary Indian artist and sculptor Jayasri Burman. It was hand-embroidered with real gold Zardozi. She paired it with a blouse hand-embroidered entirely in Resham.

Radhika accessorised her look with a beautiful emerald neckpiece, matching earrings and a maang teeka. Radhika kept her makeup subtle with soft lipstick and mascara-laden eyes. However, it was her low bun hair style, which was adorned with kamal (lotus) flowers.
