Navratri 2017 Dresses

A popular clothing item with the younger generation, palazzo suits in simple designs are perfect for the first five days of Durga Puja, as there is not much to do except offering your prayers and pushpanjali to the Goddess. Look for kurtis with long slits on the sides, asymmetrical hems or sheer fabrics to pair them up with matching palazzo pants. Go for minimal jewellery pieces and makeup, tie your hair up in a messy bun, and you are all set to pay your respects to Maa.

#2. Offer pushpanjali in traditional white and gold combination

Another amazing option for the morning puja is an anarkali or saree in the combination of pristine white and gold. For a fresh and simple look, pick your saree in comfortable fabrics like cotton or silk. While for the anarkali, you can opt for georgette too. To add a perfect traditional touch to your look, adorn your bun with flowers and wear large kundan earrings or chand baalis with a few bangles. Keep your makeup light with just a bit of gloss and kohled eyes and walk off to the pandal in golden sandals or jootis.

Durga Puja Dresses

Worn on the last day of the Durga Puja, i.e., Dashmi or Dussehra, the ethnic white saree with a red border is a must try. It might have been done to death, but wearing a traditional white saree with red border during the Durga Puja has its own charm. Drape the saree in the traditional Bengali style or wear it normally. Try on this look with elegant gold jewellery and a big red bindi on the tenth day of the puja while bidding adieu to the goddess. If you are newly-married then there is nothing better than the crimson line on your hair parting.
