Navya Nanda remarks that her podcast was the brainchild of her mommy, Shweta Bachchan

In a recent interaction with News18, Navya Nanda opened up about the massive attention and popularity that her podcast series, What The Hell Navya has been garnering at the moment. The show recently started off with its second season, after a successful first season. Talking about the same, Navya remarked that the entire credit goes to her mother, Shweta Bachchan, who manifested the idea of having a podcast with three women from different generations of the family. Adding how it all stemmed from their casual conversations at home during lockdown, Navya mentioned:

“It’s been a long journey now, we’re at season 2. Season 1 was the brainchild of something all three of us thought of during the lockdown. We all live together, so every evening we sit, similar to how we do on the show, and talk about many many different things. It was actually my mom’s idea to turn this into a podcast.”

Navya remarks the podcast simplifies hard conversations between three women from different generations

Moving further in the interaction, Navya Nanda mentioned that the idea of their podcast was to simplify having difficult conversations between three women across different generations in the same family. Revoking her mother, Shweta Bachchan’s thought about the same, Navya said:

“She felt that maybe if you have three women from the same family, but different generations, sit and actually have those hard conversations, it might spark a thought here or there. It might encourage people to speak more openly about certain things. That’s really where the motivation for the show came from.”
