Meenakshi Seshadri reveals she and Jackie Shroff didn't get the right kind of films

Talking about her acting career in the earlier times, Meenakshi noted how the 1983 Subhash Ghai directorial film, Hero, made her an overnight star. She starred in the film along with Jackie Shroff. However, elaborating more on the same, Meenakshi mentioned that after this film, they didn't get the right ones. She also regretted over not being able to replicate the same chemistry with Jackie again. She stated:

“The success of Hero could not be repeated, because the few films Jackie and I did after that, the audience didn’t get what they wanted. They didn’t get that romance, the story of Jackie and Meenakshi. I feel bad about that, because with the right kind of films, him and I could have done some really nice movies together.”
