'Mean Girls' Cast Reunite And Reprise In Their Roles For Walmart's Black Friday Sale And Its Iconic

In 2004, the world saw one of the most iconic movies of all time, Mean Girls, unfold in front of their eyes. The movie was adapted from the book, Queen Bees and Wannabes by Rosalind Wiseman. The movie's cast doubled, with its excellent screenplay immensely appealed to the viewers, so much so that the cast and the film to date are fan favourites.

Iconic Mean Girls, Lindsay Lohan, Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried are marking their grand reunion on-screen with Walmart's Black Friday Sale commercial. The cast will not only shoot for a video advertisement together but will also have their solo snippets. Every week, a pre-recorded video will be released to fetch the customers into their nearest Walmart store, luring them with drool-worthy Black Friday Sale offers.

Each Wednesday, a new Mean Girls commercial will be released. Talking about the ad collaboration, Daniel Franzese, the actor who played the character of 'Damian Leigh' added:

"We think fans are going to be super excited to see us after all these years. I know we are excited for everyone to see what we've all been up to."

It's not just the audience who are over the moon with the return of their favourite fictional characters, but it is also the cast who is excited to be back together. Talking about their reunion, Lindsay Lohan revealed that:

"It was so nice being back together after all these years. It was great catching up with everyone."

Lacey Chabert, who played the character of 'Gretchen Wieners' in Mean Girls, added:

"It was wonderful to spend the day with Amanda and Lindsay. It was so much fun to reminisce and be together again after all these years."

As per Walmart, no one can commercialise the Black Friday Sale like the Mean Girls Ladies

Black Friday marks the beginning of the festivities of the West, including the soon-approaching Thanksgiving and Christmas. Hence, the company wanted to commercialise their offers with the best. Talking about the same, Walmart's senior marketing Vice President, Courtney Carlson, added:

"Walmart is really known for Black Friday, and we don't intend to lose that positioning."
