Manisha Koirala Recalls Her Past Relationships, Accepts Falling For Wrong Men, 'There Was Red Flag'

Manisha Koirala has received positive compliments for her performance as 'Malikajaan' in Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The actress is known for her grace, versatility, and compelling screen presence. Manisha has witnessed several ups and downs in her career due to her health. However, she managed to place herself in the hearts of fans with her performances. The actress recently revealed that she hasn't been successful in her relationships and often ended up with the wrong person.

Manisha admits she has often fallen for the wrong men

Recently, Manisha Koirala sat down for an interview with Filmfare, where she talked about her health, career, and relationships. Sharing details about her personal life, Manisha revealed that she has often been in toxic relationships with the wrong men. After a certain point, she began introspecting herself for being attracted to trouble. She was quoted as saying:

"I have scrutinised why I have only fallen for wrong men. I used to wonder why am I doing this again and again, or if there's something wrong with me getting attracted to the most troubled person in the room. I figured that first, I need to work on what is bothering me."

Manisha continued, saying that she has been single for a while now. She is happy and is not looking to be in a relationship. Moreover, the actress intends to focus and work on herself for now.

Manisha reveals the qualities she would want in her partner

Although Manisha is not looking for a partner, she reveals what kind of partner she wants. The Dil Se.. actress said that she would like to have a good connection with someone at some point. Also, she would like a relationship where she and her partner accept each other and are honest about it. Manisha would like to be with somebody who has dreams and is passionate about something in life. In her words:

"It is very important to understand what are the lessons we need to learn to grow, and if we can support each other in our journey. I wish to be with somebody who has dreams and ambitions, and some sort of passion, because I am a very passionate person."

Manisha admitted that she has been forgiving in her relationships

Manisha Koirala hails from a reputed family in Nepal. She said that she was a clueless outsider. So, she was looking for someone to fill her loneliness. However, no one ever did that for her. Despite falling for the wrong men and witnessing red flags, Manisha admitted she used to always forgive and let go of the issue. Recalling the past, Manisha said:

"I found a creative way to not be lonely. They would talk so romantically about relationships, about taking me on candlelight dinners, and I would wonder when that happened. There was a red flag every time, but then I would forgive and move on. With time and age, I realised that I had collected too many unnecessary people around me."
