It was on August 6, 2021, Malayalam Megastar, Mammootty completed 50 years in Indian cinema, and his son, Dulquer Salmaan, shared a rare picture with him from his childhood, along with a touching note.

On August 6, 2021, Dulquer Salmaan took to his Instagram handle and shared two pictures to congratulate his father, Mammootty, on completing 50 years in Indian cinema. While the first picture is a solo picture of his superstar daddy looking dapper as usual in a black shirt. The second one is a rare picture from Dulquer's childhood in which he can be seen standing in between his father's legs and posing for the camera with cutesy expressions. Along with these two pictures, the doting son penned a long touching note for his father in which he talked about his father in length and surfaced the things, which helps us understand the secret behind his dad, Mammootty's illustrious career.

The Team Salute actor started his warm note talking about his father, Mammootty's work ethic and how even after all these years, he still gets extremely excited to play his next character after completing one project. Dulquer Salmaan wrote, "50 years of being an actor. Of dreaming big and never giving up. Still dreaming bigger. Of being better every day. Never being satiated. Of never tiring. Of forever being hungry to play the next great character."

Going further in his note, Dulquer Salmaan thanked his father for inspiring everyone across the world with his incredible acting talent. He penned, "Forever striving to find the next great film. Of wanting to be known more as an actor than a megastar. Of loving cinema and the craft more than any actor I've met. Of inspiring millions. Of influencing generations. Of leading only by example. Of sticking to your morals and traditions irrespective of the times."

However, Dulquer Salmaan revealed that his father, Mammootty isn't a big fan of celebrating these career milestones. The actor wrote that "Even though you dislike these celebrations of your career milestones. 50 years of the most illustrious and glorious of careers is no small accomplishment."

At the end of his note, Dulquer also promised his father that he will tirelessly work towards his dreams and will surely make everyone proud one day, with his success. He wrote, "No matter what heights he reaches, he makes his mountain only grow taller. Those who know him, know he's still climbing and will never stop. That mountain of being the best actor he can possibly be."
