Kareena Kapoor Reacts To The Viral 'Asoka' Makeup Trend Based On Her Film's Song: 'Truly Iconic'

Off lately, social media is hooked to a new makeup trend, where people can be seen getting ready to the beats of the song, San Sananan, from the film, Asoka. The movie featured Kareena Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan in lead roles and was released in 2001. Naturally, seeing the widespread nature of the trend, one cannot help but remark how Kareena’s song is still relevant to everyone even now. And recently, the diva shared her reaction to the same. Calling the song every bit iconic, Kareena mentioned how actually during the shoot of the song, she didn’t have any traces of makeup on her face. In her words:

“It’s truly iconic. In some way it was pathbreaking even then. We wanted to have it something slightly more edgy and different. And you know there was no makeup actually on my face. There were just designs on my eye and not a drop of makeup.”

Kareena revealed how her son, Taimur keeps complaining about her busy life

Previously, while attending an event by the UN, after being appointed as the UNICEF National Ambassador for India, Kareena Kapoor opened up about a personal anecdote from her life. The diva, who surely has quite a busy schedule, remarked how it is quite difficult for her at times, to strike a balance between her personal and professional life. Moreover, she remarked how her son, Taimur, keeps complaining about her busy life. She explained:

“I feel that boys who see not just their father, but also their mothers work, have some sort of respect for the fact that I can also be busy. Today they had a holiday and wanted me to be home but I told them I have to go to work. Taimur was like, 'You are always going to Delhi and Dubai for work, I want to be with you'. I told him that work is important too and I promise to come back and give you more time so that he doesn't feel neglected in any way."
