Janhvi Kapoor Celebrates Her 22nd Birthday In Varanasi With Boney And Khushi Kapoor, Pictures Inside
Even before Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's elder daughter, Janhvi Kapoor’s Bollywood debut was announced, a lot of her photos and videos have been circulating on the internet from her public appearances with her parents and some that her mother used to share on her social media profile. On March 6, 2019, Janhvi Kapoor turned a year older and ringed in her 22th birthday with her father, Boney Kapoor and sister, Khushi Kapoor. In the pictures going viral from Janhvi’s birthday celebrations, we can see her dressed up in a beige-coloured salwar kameez, cutting her birthday cake in Varanasi. She shared a picture of herself from Varanasi, gazing the beautiful ghats, and captioned it as, “Thankful & grateful. For all your love and blessings. For every opportunity. For my family. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Janhvi Kapoor wanted to visit Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh but could not go this time. "We drove to Varanasi after the day's work so I could see the Ganga aarti and go to the Kashi Vishwanath temple. I wanted to visit Tirupati (in Andhra Pradesh) again, mom (Sridevi) used to climb up to temple every year for her birthday when she was working. I went there earlier this year and wanted to go again on my birthday, but arrangements couldn't be made on time. I might go next week."

Janhvi Kapoor, who is essaying the role of IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena in Kargil Girl, talked about an ideal birthday plan for her and had stated, "There's no better place for me in the world than a film set. My only wish is that I get the chance to do good work and make my parents (Boney Kapoor and Sridevi) proud." Talking about the film, Janhvi further added, "I have a day's work left in Lucknow. After which I resume work next month. I feel blessed that I got the chance to work with this team."

In 2018, on her 21st birthday, Janhvi Kapoor had shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram which was also a tribute to her mother, Sridevi, who passed away 10 days before her birthday. Janhvi had written, “On my birthday, the only thing I ask of all of you is that you love your parents. Cherish them and devote yourself to making them feel that love. They have made you. And I ask that you remember my mother fondly, pray for her soul to rest in peace.”
Janhvi Kapoor’s post could be further read as, “Let the love and adulation you’ll showered on her continue and please know that the biggest part of my mother was the love she shared with papa. And their love is immortal because there was nothing like it in the whole world. Nothing as joyful and pure and no two people as devoted to one another as they were. Please respect that because it hurts to think anyone would ever try to tarnish it. Preserving the sanctity of what they had would mean the world not only to my mother but also to a man who’s entire being revolved around her, and her two children who are all that remains of their love.
