'Fukra Insaan' Reacts To Kusha Kapila's Ugly Roast By Samay Raina On Her Divorce: 'Iski Theme..'

Kusha Kapila is one of the strongest women, who worked hard on herself and entered Bollywood with her talent. However, the influencer-turned-actress often gets trolled for her weight, relationship rumours and her decision to part ways with Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia. Kusha always put her best foot forward and never paid heed to the trollers, but things took an ugly turn in June 2024, when she was called on Ashish Solanki's Pretty Good Roast Show. Now, Fukra Insaan, a.k.a Abhishek Malhan, reacted to the whole controversy.

For those who don't know, Kusha Kapil was invited to comedian Ashish Solanki's show, Pretty Good Roast, where comedians roast the guests and vice versa. However, Samay Raina's roast of Kusha went a lot below the belt, as he highlighted Kusha in a negative light and took a dig at her divorce from Zorawar. The punch lines were so bad that they had to mute it.

Now, Fukra Insaan, a.k.a. Abhishek, who was seen in the second season of Bigg Boss OTT, reacted to this. He said that the theme of the show is like that, but Kusha Kapil got offended as Samay Raina roasted her. Abhishek further stated that people on the show try to maintain their cool and calm on the show as they know people are watching, but they all feel bad. He said:

"Is show ka theme hi aisi hai, abhi jaise Kusha Kapil gayi thi aur Samay Raina ne usko roast kara. But agar ap logo ko nahi pata toh she got offended. And what toh log apna cool and calm maintain kar lete hai ki mai sun raha hoon, mai sun raha hoon.. Ab yaha toh pori duniya dekh rahi hai, mereko toh hasna hi padega hehehe... Ander hi ander bhai sabko hi bura lagta hai dekho yaar kitna hi pyaara insaan ho thura bahut toh bura lag hi jata ahai na jab tum itne personal ho jate ho."

When Kusha Kapila revealed she had no idea that the jokes would be personal

Kusha Kapila was deeply hurt after Samay Raina's roast. She tried her best to ignore it, but people started claiming that she got paid to hear her insults. Kusha dismissed the rumours and revealed that it was done in good faith and for a friend. However, she regrets that she didn't ask for a script. She also revealed that he was the first episode, which is why they marked the boundaries, especially with the female guest. She wrote:

"Friends, a recent roast I was a part of has led a lot of my female and queer followers to question why did I sit through something that could have been completely avoided and WITH GOOD REASON. here’s my two cents, it was done in good faith and for a friend. Nobody has been paid (neither comics nor guests) for it. So the argument that people are “being paid big fat cheques to hear their insults” is baseless."

Kusha further added that if she had not let the episode go live, people would call her a crybaby and a coward. She called it a learning experience, and she was even ruthlessly told that she deserved these and that, as a divorced woman, she should have seen this coming. Kusha further clarified that she chose to keep silent about the matter as she was choosing her mental peace.
