When Vivek Dahiya revealed how they were robbed of their belongings in Florence

On July 10, 2024, Divyanka and Vivek were robbed, and their passports, wallets, money, and shopping items were taken away in Florence. During an interview with ETimes, Vivek spoke at length about the incident, revealing that they were headed to check a property in the town when the robbers took away their belongings. He said:

“Everything about this trip has been incredible, except for this incident. We arrived in Florence yesterday and planned to stay for a day. We went to check out a property we liked for our stay and left all our belongings in a car parked outside. However, when we returned to get our stuff, we were shocked to find that the car had been broken into, and our passports, wallets, money, shopping, and all our valuable items were gone. Fortunately, they left behind some old clothes and food items.”

Vivek Dahiya shared that the local police didn't offer their assistance

In the same interaction, Vivek mentioned that they tried contacting the local police, but due to the lack of proper evidence, they denied helping them out. The actor further added that the police station in the country closes at 6 pm, after which they do not offer any assistance. Moreover, the couple also tried reaching out to the embassy. Unfortunately, it had already closed that day.
