Deepika Padukone Is Called 'Insecure' By Netizens After Being Incapable Of Praising Other Actresses

Deepika Padukone is one such actress in the industry, who never misses a chance to drool millions of hearts with her acting skills and sartorial fashion choices. In addition, from giving block-buster hits onscreen, signing with International brands, and achieving other milestones in her life, Deepika has given major goals to many girls of her age. However, she is sometimes hugely trolled for her fashion choices and bold answers. Now, one of her reactions is getting viral on social media, and she could be seen getting trolled for the same.

Deepika Padukone reveals she didn't idolise any actress ever

In an old interview going viral, Deepika Padukone can be seen involved in a candid conversation along with other actresses, including Kangana Ranaut, Vidya Balan and Nimrat Kaur. In the clip taken from the conversation, the interviewer can be seen asking the gorgeous divas about 'any actress each of them grew up admiring'. To this, Deepika began the conversation by answering that she belonged to a sports family and films didn't take a major part. She revealed:

"Well i grew up in a sports family and films were not an important part of growing up. It was just that one Yash Raj film or that one Dharma film, which also looked I an wholesome family entertainer that my parents could take all of us, where the whole family could go together, certainly i did not grow up watching films so i have really not grown up idolizing one or saying i hope my career goes this way or i end of doing things these kind."

Followed by Deepika, Kangana too mentioned coming from a middle-class family, where the major focus was studies. However, Kangana too added about learning a lot of aspects from many other actresses of her previous generation. Then, Nimrat Kaur mentioned her idol as 'the timeless beauty- Madhuri Dixit' and the conversation was summed up by Vidya, who praised many actresses of the 60s-80s, and talked about taking inspiration from them. And it seemed by the clip that Deepika was the only actress, who couldn't praise any other actresses.

Netizens' reaction to Deepika's answer

As soon as the video featuring Deepika's conversation with the interviewer, followed by the other panel members, surfaced online, netizens brutally trolled the former for the same. While one user wrote, "Her answer is so embarrassing for an actress. How can she sit amongst such passionate + smart women and blabber something so vapid and meaningless without feeling embarrassed." Another user commented, "Deepika Padukone is a very insecure and a fake person. I don't buy her bullshit like she's shy, introverted, decent, good person."
