Debina Bonnerjee Reveals Her Pregnancy Cravings Led To Gestational Diabetes, Shares How She Cured It

Popular television actress, Debina Bonnerjee is expecting her second baby with her husband, Gurmeet Choudhary. Earlier, the couple embraced parenthood for the first time with the arrival of a daughter, Lianna Choudhary, on April 3, 2022. Debina and Gurmeet had eagerly waited for a decade to become parents, and when it finally happened, their happiness knew no bounds.

Currently, Debina is fulfilling her mommy duties with her daughter, Lianna, while taking care of her and her would-be-baby. The actress calls her second pregnancy a miracle as it happened at the most unexpected time. Being an avid social media user, Debina often shares interesting details about her pregnancy journey with her fans and often guides them about the do's and don'ts of pregnancy.

In a new YouTube video, Debina Bonnerjee opened up about her pregnancy diet. The mommy-to-be shared that she had gestational diabetes and her blood sugar level got increased as she used to give in to her pregnancy cravings. She revealed that she was eating anything that she wanted and asked other expecting ladies to avoid doing that. Mentioning how she had to modify her diet to cure gestational diabetes, Debina stated that she is now following a strict diet plan as advised by her doctor. Check it out below:

Further in the video, Debina mentioned that though the consumption of caffeine is highly discouraged during pregnancy, she starts her morning with a cup of butter coffee. She added that it helps her digestion as she never suffered from constipation throughout her pregnancy journey. Talking about her breakfast, Debina shared that she eats two eggs omelette, one-fourth of an avocado, and a piece of gluten-free bread or rice cake. She added that she ensures that she intakes an adequate amount of protein.

The mommy-to-be also revealed that she could only eat apples and pomegranates in fruits and mentioned that she tries to include a lot of salad in her diet. She shared that she eats 200 grams of fish along with some veggies in lunch and avoids eating rice. Debina also stated that she had replaced her evening snacks like pizza and burgers with bhelpuri or some fruits. Later, she consumes a bowl of soup in dinner or a moong daal cheela in dinner.
