From biding farewell to the greatest Indian actor, Dilip Kumar, to the untimely demise of television actor, Sidharth Shukla, the list features some of the most shocking deaths. 'The First Khan' and 'The Tragedy King', late Mohammed Yusuf Khan, a.k.a, Dilip Kumar, had breathed his last on July 7, 2021, at Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital. At the age of 98, the actor had passed away due to prolonged illness. The heart-breaking news had saddened the entire Indian cinema, and soon his residence was packed with elite celebrities of the entertainment industry.

Iconic veteran actress, late Shashikala, who had worked in hundreds of Bollywood movies in supporting roles primarily between the 1950s and 1980s, had died at her residence at the age of 88. Shashikala had passed away due to old-age health-related problems on April 4, 2021. The veteran actress is best known for her roles in blockbuster films like Anupama, Ayi Milan Ki Bela, Gumrah, Waqt, Khubsoorat, and Phool Aur Patthar. In 2017, she was also honoured with the prestigious Padma Shri award for her tremendous contribution to Indian cinema.

The popular Indian actor, late Amit Mistry, had passed away on April 23, 2021, due to a severe heart attack at the age of 47. The actor's demise had shocked the entire entertainment industry, as he was all happy and healthy. Amit had worked in films like Deewana, Yamla Pagla Deewana, television shows like Tenali Rama, Maddam Sir, and in some critically-acclaimed web series. The entire entertainment industry had expressed their shock at his untimely demise. As per the reports, Raj Kaushal had died due to a severe cardiac arrest. Raj Kaushal was a famous director-producer who had worked in the film industry during the 1990s and mid-2000s.

The actor was renowned for his incredible character acting in the '50s and '60s. Chandrasekhar had acted in many successful films like Surang, Mastana, Basant Bahaar, Kaali Topi Laal Rumaal, and many more. Iconic actor, Chandrasekhar was a man of many talents as he had also worked as an assistant director in films like Koshish, Aandhi, Mausam, and etc.

For the unversed, veteran actor, Naseeruddin Shah is her former brother-in-law, as the actor had married Surekha Sikri's step-sister, Manara Sikri, also known as Parveen Murad. According to reports, Surekha Sikri had passed away at 75. The veteran actress was suffering from prolonged illness after she had suffered a major paralytic stroke in 2018 and a brain stroke in 2020.

After his demise, in a conversation with the Bombay Times, Nadeem Saifi had opened up about the pain that he was in after learning about his best friend, Shravan’s death. He had said:

“I am in deep pain as I say this but my friend and my companion, my partner of so many years is no more. It has left such a vacuum. I spoke to his son who was inconsolable.”

After a long battle with cancer, Ghanshyam Nayak had passed away on October 3, 2021. The veteran actor had breathed his last at 5:30 pm at the age of 77. The producer of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Asit Kumarr Modi, had shared the news of Ghanshyam's death on his Twitter handle. His tweet could be read as:
