Recently, we stumbled upon a couple, who got married at the wedding location of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.

Where did Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati got married?

Tiryuginarayan temple is located in the village of Triyuginarayan in Rudraprayag district, Uttrakhand. It is said that this was the place wherein Lord Shiva got married to Goddess Parvati in the presence of Lord Vishnu. It is the same place that witnessed the union of Shiv and Parvati during the Satya Yug. According to people, Shiva and Paravati took pheras in the presence of the holy fire that still burns in front of the temple in a hawan kund.
