Pashmeen Manchanda and Barun Sobti had gotten married in the year 2010. After being blissfully married for over 8 years, this duo decided to introduce a third member in their lives. There was no pregnancy announcement from Barun, which is why his fans were pleasantly surprised when the doting daddy-to-be had organised a baby shower ceremony for his wife and many stars from the telly town such as Sai, Karan Wahi, Akshay Dogra, Mohit Sehgal, Gautam Hegde, Sanaya Irani, Abhaas Mehta, Dalljiet Kaur, etc. had joined the couple in the happy occasion.

Barun Sobti’s wife, Pashmeen Manchanda is currently in her third trimester and they are eagerly waiting for their baby who is due in July 2019. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Barun had revealed that he wasn’t planning to hide his wife’s pregnancy, but he had told everyone about it when the time was right. He had further stated that he and his wife are in a happy space right now and are taking it ‘one day at a time’. In the same interaction, Barun had spoken about the kind of father that he is going to be:

“I have not thought about what kind of a parent I would be but I think both of us are prepared in our own way. Moreover, I feel nothing can really prepare you for parenthood as you learn along the way when your baby comes and how you bring your child up. We are ready for the surprises that will come along the way (laughs). I am a realistic person so I think I will be a realistic kind of father to my child. Who knows how you handle the situation that you come across after you become a parent. Being a parent is a huge responsibility.”
