Over the years, many brides ditch traditional outfits and opt for lehengas on their big day, but Bengali brides have stayed loyal to their love for Benarasi silk sarees. Recently, we stumbled upon influencer, Debasree Banerjee's wedding. The gorgeousness ditched the designer lehengas and donned her mom's wedding day saree.

The bride's red Benarasi saree was a hand-me-down from her mother. She teamed it with a half-sleeve blouse with floral zari work. Debasree added a modern twist to the traditional Bengali drape by adding a sheer dupatta. Famous saree draper, Dolly Singh made her look super pretty draping her saree.

The bride accessorised her look with gold jewellery. She looked pretty in a gold choker neckpiece, matching earrings, matha patti and bangles. Debasree got her makeup done by MAC Cosmetics. Her look was completed with Topor.
