There's a reason why one of the greatest filmmakers of the modern cinema, Tigmanshu Dhulia, considers late Bollywood actor, Irrfan Khan as the best actor ever in the history of Indian cinema. With no disrespect to legends like Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand, Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan, and many more, there is no one, literally no one like Irrfan Khan, who can give performances of elite level with so much ease and perfection. However, on April 29, 2020, the nation felt a wave of shock and sadness, when the news of Angrezi Medium actor, Irrfan Khan's demise had flashed all over the internet. The whole nation went into a dark loop of misery and memories, and even today, it feels like he's still with us because it's too hard for us to digest his untimely demise. However, Irrfan's son, Babil Khan, is the one, who never skips a day without sharing something about his father from his memory lane on his Instagram handle. This time, the young filmmaker has shared one of the biggest gifts he had received from his father. Also, the gift tells us a lot about his connections with international legends and his legacy. On August 7, 2020, late Bollywood great, Irrfan Khan's son, Babil Khan took to his Instagram stories and posted two pictures of the two surprise gifts he had received from his late father. The first picture is of Oscar-winning film, Joker's script. Yes! You read it right, and the actor had gifted this script to his son even before the release of the film. On the script, we can see a message scribbled by the late actor, and it can be read as "For U. These are confidential until the movie releases. Baba" And, his son, Babil too penned a caption atop it, which can be read as "That time Baba (I used to call him baba) sent me the Joker script before it released and I was in film school like "WHA-?!" and I hid it from all my friends till the film released." The next picture is of the script of another Oscar-winning movie, Jojo Rabbit and revealing the same, Babil wrote, "And this" atop. Take a look.

On April 5, 2020, Babil Khan had taken to his Instagram handle to share two throwback videos of his late father dipping in the icy cold lake as he was fond of swimming. In the first video, Irrfan could be seen dipping into the lake while people could be heard cheering for him. While, in the second video, Irrfan could be seen half dipped into the water, as he had said, 'It's ice' referring to the water. On May 3, 2020, Babil had shared a series of pictures of his father from the days of NSD. In the first picture, Irrfan could be seen sitting, wearing specs and concentrating over something, while the other two pictures were from some play.
