Ankita Lokhande is one of the most-loved faces in the entertainment industry. The diva never fails to mesmerise everyone with her outstanding acting chops, graceful beauty and charming personality. Ankita began her journey with her iconic performance in the television show, Pavitra Rishta and thereafter, gained household recognition. In 2019, she made her film debut in the Kangana Ranaut starrer, Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi and never looked back since. In her personal life, she got married to her soulmate, Vicky Jain in 2019. Ever since her marriage, Ankita has often been rumoured to be pregnant with her first child, however, all of it has been nothing more than baseless rumours. In a recent interview with ETimes, Ankita Lokhande reacts to the morphed pictures of her flaunting a baby bump circulating on social media. Ankita even addressed the frequent speculations that often surface about her being pregnant with her first child with hubby, Vicky Jain. She mentioned that she’s not been the first celebrity to have dealt with such baseless news about her personal life. Revealing how netizens endlessly speculate about a celebrity, starting from their relationships, weddings and child planning, the diva mentioned:

“I don’t think I’m the only one who goes through this. First when you are not single, you are constantly asked shaadi ho rahi, kab ho rahi or ho chuki hai. Then once you get married, baccha ho raha hai, nahi ho raha ya ho chuka hai or you are pregnant, these things are constantly been written and asked. There are also questions like divorce bhi ho sakta hai, I think ye media mein chalta rehta hai.”

Ankita reveals if she gets affected by the constant query about her pregnancy

In the same interview, Ankita spoke about whether such rumours about her personal life affect her at all. She said that she’s seen memes about her, morphed pictures of her flaunting fake baby bump. Nevertheless, she doesn’t really let these things affect her life and instead laughs it off. In her words:

“It doesn’t bother me at all. I don’t care about these rumours. I see so many times memes about me. There are also pictures of me having a baby bump on YouTube and social media, but I don’t give it attention at all. Main dekhti hoon mere photos YouTube par aise peit baby bump aaya hua hai. Mujhe hassi aati hai ki sacchi mein inke paas koi kaam nahi hai.”

Ankita shares her take on whether she is ready to plan a child soon

In the concluding segment of the interview, Ankita shared whether she wants to embrace motherhood in the near future, and shared if she worries about her biological clock ticking. The diva mentioned that she is in no rush to plan a child and feels whenever it will happen, it will be according to destiny’s own plan.

Ankita Lokhande is a phenomenal actress, and there is no doubt about it. In one of her earlier interviews with ETimes, she had addressed her regret of turning down a promising film offer of Bajirao Mastani from Sanjay Leela Bhansali, at the initial phase of her career. She revealed that back in those days, she was in a serious relationship with her Pavitra Rishta co-star, Sushant Singh Rajput, and was even contemplating marriage with him. Therefore, she had turned down the offer then. Fast forward to now, she mentioned that although she doesn't regret her decision, but it makes her sad but it was her own choice so she doesn't regret.
