Anita Hassanandani Clarifies Reports On Leaving Her 'First Love Acting', Says 'She Never Said That'

Recently, reports of Anita Hassanandani leaving the television industry were doing the rounds in the media. However, she took to her social media accounts to clarify that she isn't leaving acting.

Anita Hassanandani Clarifies Reports On Leaving Her 'First Love Acting', Says 'She Never Said That'

On June 11, 2021, all the lovers of daily soaps and Bollywood movies were taken aback when reports of Anita Hassanandani quitting acting were doing the rounds in the media. It was all over the internet that the television actress had announced that she would be quitting her acting career in the television industry, four months after the birth of her son, Aaravv. This news had disappointed all her fans.

It was in an interview with The Times Of India,  that Anita Hassanandani had said that currently her son, Aaravv Reddy is her priority and she is not thinking of making a comeback anytime soon. She had said, "I had decided that whenever I would have a child, I would leave the industry and let go of my work. I always wanted to focus on being a mother. So it's not about the pandemic, I would have either way left the industry, pandemic or no pandemic. I want to be at home with my kid."

Though this news had disheartened Anita's fans, who were waiting for her to end her maternity break and resume shooting soon, Anita was shocked as her statement was taken the other way. Anita took to her Twitter handle and Instagram story to clarify that she never said that she has quit acting. Her clarification was quite contrary to the reports in the media, but her fans were relieved that the reports were not true.

Anita has rubbished the reports of her leaving the industry and made it clear that right now her priority is her son, Aaravv and she would get back to acting when she thinks is the right time to do so. Taking to her Twitter handle, the Kkavyanjali actress tweeted, "It's all over that I'm quitting my first love ACTING. All I said was that my focus right now is my child... Aaravv is my priority... I will resume work when I'm ready."

In the interview with The Times Of India, she had also made it clear that she is not sure that when she will be able to get back on a full-fledged TV show. She had said, "But getting back on a full-fledged set of a TV show, I don't know when that will happen. But I am sure when I decide to get back, people will get to know." Now that Anita has made her stance clear and we go through her interview again, it can be understood that Anita was misinterpreted.

For the unversed, Anita Hassanandani and her businessman husband, Rohit Reddy had welcomed their little bundle of joy, Aaravv Reddy back in February 2021. It is since then that the duo has been going through a different phase in their lives. They often take to their Instagram handles to share how Aaravv occupies a major part of their life now. Bringing up a child is not that easy and Anita Hassanandani's decision to take care of her baby first has made it pretty much clear.

Anita Hassanandani, who had started her career in Bollywood with films like Kucch Toh Hain and Krishna Cottage, had, later on, won the hearts of the audiences through the famous television show, Kkavyanjali.
